Ribbon-Cutting at Uptown Cats

It’s a common dilemma that devoted cat owners come across: “What do we do with the kitties while we are out of town?”  One can call upon a neighbor or an unwilling teenage family member to check-in once a day.  Or there’s always the over-feed-and-leave which isn’t really safe for pets and usually leaves owners with a lot of guilt and worry on their shoulders.  Fortunately, if the cat owners live in or near Sequim, WA there is a much better alternative!  On Wednesday, December 5th the Sequim Chamber Board visited this unique business and celebrated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.  They learned that for only $15 per day Uptown Cats will care for resident cats as one of their own.  Owner and caretaker, Doreen Emerson is passionate about animals and owns cats and horses of her own. She built Uptown Cats from the ground up to be specially suited to her residents’ needs.  Consider contacting Doreen the next time you find yourself in the above situation.  Check out Uptown Cats’ website: http://www.uptowncats.net/ or give them a call: (360) 681-4770.  Your cat will thank you.
