On Saturday, Nov. 24th the community of Sequim gathered downtown to meet Santa, Mrs. Claus, and the beautiful Irrigation Festival Royalty. Jim Bower of Jim Bower Logging and his team of elves drove them all in from the North Pole, down Washington St. on a carriage pulled by his two magnificent draft horses, Mike and Bill. Music by the Sequim City Band and guitarist/singer Jonathan Simonson made the sunny afternoon festive. Children also got their faces painted by the Sequim High School Varsity Cheerleaders while waiting their turn to see Santa. Linda Barnfather (pictured below) photographed the event and has graciously posted all her pictures from the day on her website, free to the public to download by clicking the following link using password SequimSanta2012: http://lindabarnfather.photoshelter.com/gallery/Santas-Visit-to-Sequim-2012/G0000KfyzyieV7sQ
